Louisville, KY – Residents can expect a mild and dry weekend before rain moves in late Sunday, followed by snow chances midweek. Temperatures will climb into the mid-50s on Sunday before a cold front brings noticeable changes.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will remain sunny with highs near 45°F and calm southwest winds. Tonight will stay mostly clear with lows around 36°F. Sunday will bring sunny skies and mild temperatures, reaching 55°F, but showers are likely Sunday night as temperatures dip to the mid-40s. Rainfall could total up to 0.75 inches.

Monday will see showers lingering through midday, with highs near 58°F. Cooler air moves in Monday night, dropping lows to 41°F. By Tuesday, the chance of rain diminishes, but highs will only reach 51°F.

Snow chances increase late Tuesday night into Wednesday as temperatures fall to 28°F. Light snow accumulation is possible, especially in higher elevations or grassy areas. Wednesday will be colder, with highs struggling to hit 34°F. Wind chills could make it feel even colder, so residents should dress warmly and prepare for potential slick spots on roadways.

Travelers along I-65 and other major routes should remain cautious during snow or icy conditions and plan ahead for slower commutes.
