Paducah, KY – Breezy weather and a significant cold front will impact Paducah starting Monday, with thunderstorms likely to develop by evening. Residents along U.S. Route 60 should prepare for possible heavy rain and gusty winds after 9 p.m. Monday night.

According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, Monday’s high will reach 74°F, but the weather will turn unsettled late in the day. A cold front will arrive, bringing showers and possible thunderstorms. Winds could gust up to 25 mph during the storm. By Monday night, temperatures will dip to a low of 60°F.

Tuesday will see a brief respite, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 72°F. However, the real shift comes midweek. Wednesday marks the beginning of cooler conditions, with highs dropping to the mid-50s and overnight lows plunging to the upper 30s. Wind gusts up to 26 mph will make it feel even colder.

By Thursday and Friday, daytime highs will struggle to surpass 50°F. Overnight, wind chills could sink into the 20s, creating frost concerns for sensitive plants. This colder air mass will likely persist into Saturday, with highs in the mid-50s and mostly sunny skies.
