Tennessee, TN – The search for Braze Rucker, who was wanted in connection with the shooting of a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper on I-40 in Putnam County, is over. Rucker was taken into custody in Princeton, KY by Kentucky State Police (KSP) on Thursday. The capture involved the use of THP Trooper Adam Cothron’s handcuffs, adding a poignant note to the arrest.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the coordinated effort included the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and multiple law enforcement agencies. Authorities expressed their gratitude to the citizens of Tennessee and all supporting agencies for their help.

The investigation continues as law enforcement searches for the other occupants of the Kia Forte involved in the incident. Trooper Cothron remains in critical condition, and the authorities are determined to find all responsible parties.
