Wichita, KS – A significant warming trend is set to sweep through Wichita next week, bringing temperatures into the 90s by midweek. The US National Weather Service Wichita Kansas has issued a forecast predicting a gradual increase in temperatures starting Monday.

According to the NWS, Monday’s high will be around 85 degrees, providing a relatively mild start to the week. However, as Tuesday approaches, temperatures are expected to climb between 85 and 90 degrees. There is also a possibility of isolated showers and thunderstorms, which may offer brief relief from the heat.

By Wednesday, Wichita residents should brace for the peak of this warming trend, with temperatures forecasted to range from 90 to 94 degrees. This marks a noticeable shift from the cooler conditions experienced earlier in the month.

Today’s high is expected to reach 84 degrees under clear skies, setting the stage for the warmer days ahead. The rest of the week will continue this trend, with highs projected to stay in the 90s through Friday. Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions to cope with the heat.
