Today’s maximum temperatures across the state include 85 degrees in Russell, 87 degrees in Salina and Winfield, and 86 degrees in Hutchinson and Wichita. Emporia and Coffeyville will see highs of 84 degrees, while Topeka is set to reach 84 degrees.

Forecasts predict a sunny Saturday with a high of 90 degrees, followed by a 60% chance of rain on Sunday, dropping temperatures to 78 degrees.
