Wichita, KS – Mild fall weather continues across central and southern Kansas this week, with a few weak cold fronts bringing breezy conditions but little temperature change, according to the National Weather Service in Wichita.

Forecasters expect highs between 61 and 70 degrees Wednesday, warming to upper 60s to mid-70s Thursday, especially across southeast Kansas. A second weak front Friday will keep temperatures comfortable, with highs from 67 to 73 degrees and lows mainly in the 40s.

Winds will pick up midweek, with breezy conditions Wednesday and Thursday ahead of each front. Despite the system passages, no significant rain or severe weather is expected.

Meteorologists note that temperatures will remain above seasonal averages for early November, offering a brief continuation of mild fall weather before colder air returns next week.

Residents can expect clear skies, dry conditions, and good travel weather through the end of the week.
