Kansas Evening Forecast: Storms and Below Average Temperatures into Next Week

Wichita, KS – The US National Weather Service in Wichita has issued an evening forecast predicting hit-or-miss showers and storms continuing through the weekend and into the beginning of next week. Storm chances are expected to gradually move eastward each day, bringing much-needed rain to several areas across Kansas.

According to the National Weather Service, the highest storm chances tonight are around 50%, with temperatures dropping to the low 60s. Sunday sees a 40% chance of storms with daytime highs reaching between 80-84 degrees. Sunday night brings a 30% chance of showers, with lows between 60-65 degrees.

The pattern of scattered showers and storms will persist into Monday, with a 30% chance of precipitation and temperatures ranging from 80-87 degrees. By Tuesday, storm chances decrease to 10%, with highs projected between 84-88 degrees.
