The Kankakee Area YMCA has announced its Youth Coed Winter Basketball League, open to children ages 3-14. The program runs from January 13 through March 1, offering young athletes an opportunity to build skills, stay active, and enjoy team play.
Registration is now open with early bird pricing available through November 25. Members can register for $50, while prospective members pay $90. Regular registration continues from November 26 to December 23, with fees of $60 for members and $100 for non-members. Late registration, running December 24 through January 2, costs $70 for members and $110 for non-members.
A mandatory skills evaluation will take place on January 4 to help coaches assess players and ensure balanced teams.
The league is divided into age groups, including 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-11, and 12-14, offering tailored coaching and competitive play for all participants.
