Bradley, IL – Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School (BBCHS) was placed on lockdown early Friday morning following reports of a threat involving non-students. According to multiple sources the lockdown was around 7:30am this morning.

Authorities responded swiftly, securing the campus as students were either evacuated or held in secure locations. Initial reports from concerned parents on social media indicated that some students were in the cafeteria while others were outside. Several individuals were reportedly detained, though official details remain limited.

As of Friday morning, the campus is secure, and school officials confirmed that the lockdown will not result in a cancellation of classes. Parents will be notified once the lockdown is lifted.

No injuries have been reported, and further updates from both the school and local authorities are expected as the investigation continues. Parents are urged to remain calm and wait for official communication from school officials. This remains a developing story.
