Kankakee County Alzheimer’s Forum to Share 2025 Facts April 22 at Manteno Community Center

Manteno, IL – Community leaders and residents are invited to join a morning of education, conversation, and cognitive wellness during the “What’s Brewing with Brain Health?” forum in Manteno.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter, the free event will take place Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Manteno Community Center, located at 1211 N. Main Street. The event aims to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia while providing updates on new data and local resources.

The program will feature Hadi Finerty, Director of Community Engagement, and Kayli Rizzo, Senior Manager for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Topics include the Alzheimer’s Association’s official 2025 Facts & Figures report, the impact of lifestyle interventions, and ways for the public to get involved locally.

Organized in partnership with the MCA Senior Adult Day Center and Manteno Chamber of Commerce, the session also offers networking opportunities for caregivers, healthcare professionals, and those passionate about brain health.
