Rensselaer, IN – As spring approaches, Jasper County announces the launch of its 2024 ATV and Golf Cart Registration.

According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, residents can now register their ATVs and golf carts for legal use on county roadways. The process involves completing a registration form, available on the Jasper County Police website, and paying a $25.00 fee at either the Sheriff’s Annex or the Sheriff’s Office. Successful registrants will receive a sticker, authorizing them to operate their vehicles on county roads in compliance with the local ordinance.

It’s important to note that all ATVs registered with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office must also be registered with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles for lawful operation on county roadways. Chief Deputy Jason Wallace emphasizes this requirement to ensure all residents enjoy their ATV adventures safely and legally.
