Jackson County, FL – Three people were arrested Saturday after allegedly burglarizing an unoccupied home in Jackson County. The sheriff’s office responded to a call about a possible burglary in progress at a property on Rocky Creek Road.
A victim reported seeing three suspects taking items from the home. A Sneads Police officer attempted a traffic stop, but the suspects fled on foot. Officers quickly caught one, while the sheriff’s K-9 unit tracked the other two down.
Authorities recovered about $1,800 worth of stolen property and returned it to the victim. Allen Godfrey, Ashley Haney, and Rolanda Ratliff face charges of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and grand theft.
Sheriff Edenfield thanked the Sneads Police Department for assisting in the arrests.
