Chicago, IL – Isolated thunderstorms are expected near the Illinois-Wisconsin state line on Sunday, with a chance of storms continuing throughout the week. According to the US National Weather Service in Chicago, the region will experience near-seasonable temperatures with occasional showers.

Sunday’s weather will feature isolated afternoon showers with temperatures ranging from 77 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit. The evening will see lows between 61 and 68 degrees.

Monday’s forecast calls for mainly dry conditions with showers well inland of Lake Michigan. Highs will be between 76 and 84 degrees, with overnight lows similar to Sunday’s.

On Tuesday, scattered thunderstorms may develop in the late afternoon, primarily affecting areas along I-80 and north. Temperatures will reach a high of 86 degrees, with a 20-50% chance of precipitation.

Wednesday presents the highest likelihood of thunderstorms, with showers expected in the late afternoon. The weather service predicts a 50-60% chance of storms, and temperatures will peak between 77 and 84 degrees.

Looking ahead, the weather will turn drier with lower humidity from Thursday through Saturday, with the warmest temperatures expected on Saturday.
