Twin Cities, MN – Southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin will experience hazy skies due to elevated wildfire smoke through Wednesday. Tuesday’s forecast includes partly sunny skies with isolated showers possible across the region. Temperatures will range from 80 to 90 degrees during the day and drop to 58 to 65 degrees at night.
According to the U.S. National Weather Service, the warm and hazy conditions will persist into Wednesday, with highs again reaching 80 to 90 degrees. A layer of wildfire smoke will continue to affect visibility, though most of it is expected to remain elevated. By Thursday, skies will clear, with sunny conditions and temperatures between 82 and 88 degrees.
Drivers in the affected areas, particularly along major routes like I-35 and I-94, should remain cautious due to reduced visibility. The haze could also impact air quality, so residents with respiratory issues are advised to limit outdoor activity until conditions improve.
