Gilman, IL — A Gilman man has been arrested by the Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police after an alleged assault on Saturday. Deputies were called to the 200 block of North Central Avenue in response to a reported threat involving the suspect. Upon arriving at the scene, officers encountered 35-year-old Tuwanli D. Collins.

According to reports from the Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office, Collins allegedly assaulted another person at the location before deputies intervened. During the interaction, authorities discovered that Collins was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Livingston County. Deputies confirmed the warrant and took Collins into custody.
