Iowa’s Wapsipinicon River Reaches Major Flood Stage, Impacting De Witt Area

Davenport, IA – The Wapsipinicon River near De Witt is experiencing major flooding due to recent rainfall over the past week.

According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities, the river has reached a crest of 13.3 feet as of Sunday and is expected to maintain this level through the middle of next week.
