Quad Cities, Iowa/Illinois – Dry air and mild sunshine will set the tone for the week across eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois, with highs in the 60s and low 70s expected through Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities office, Sunday brings partly sunny skies and highs ranging from 63 to 70 degrees. Overnight lows will dip into the 40s. A very slight chance (10–20%) of isolated showers exists for parts of Illinois tonight, but most areas will remain dry.
Monday and Tuesday will continue the trend of comfortable spring weather. Monday’s highs will top out between 61–68 degrees under partly cloudy skies, while Tuesday turns sunny and slightly warmer with highs up to 77 in some locations. Overnight lows both nights will fall into the mid-to-upper 40s.
Cities like Davenport, Moline, and Rock Island can expect calm conditions, though residents should watch for brief clouds or sprinkles, especially Monday night. Any measurable rainfall looks unlikely until at least midweek.
By Wednesday, temperatures may reach the mid-70s, though a slight uptick in moisture could bring isolated showers (10–30%) to the region.
