The National Weather Service warns of a High Swim Risk at southeast Lake Michigan beaches until Thursday morning due to hazardous waves and currents. Residents are cautioned to avoid swimming and stay clear of the pier as winds reach 10 to 20 mph from the north and waves begin to subside.
