Indiana Weather: Thunderstorms Possible Saturday West of State Route 31

Fort Wayne, IN – Warmer and more humid conditions are expected across Northern Indiana this weekend, with a slight chance of thunderstorms on Saturday. Friday’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with comfortable temperatures ranging from 78 to 83 degrees. As the day progresses, highs are expected to reach around 80 degrees.

Saturday will see a slight increase in cloud cover and a chance of afternoon and early evening thunderstorms, particularly west of State Route 31. Temperatures will rise, with highs reaching between 81 and 87 degrees, while overnight lows are expected to be in the 57 to 61-degree range.

Sunday will bring warmer and more humid conditions, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures ranging from 83 to 89 degrees. The humidity will increase, making it feel warmer. The trend of rising temperatures and humidity will continue into the start of the next week, with temperatures pushing into the upper 80s and 90s.

According to the US National Weather Service Northern Indiana, this pattern of warm, humid weather is expected to persist, so plan accordingly. Keep an eye on the sky if you’re west of State Route 31, as thunderstorms could disrupt your weekend plans.
