Syracuse, IN – The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana reports that mild weather Monday will be followed by rain Monday night and Tuesday, with a potential mix of rain and snow arriving by Wednesday.
By Thanksgiving Day, colder air will filter in behind the system, and light snow may develop — mainly north of U.S. Route 30, where temperatures will hover in the 30s.
Monday and Tuesday will bring highs in the upper 40s to mid-50s, before temperatures drop sharply by midweek. The region could see breezy conditions and brief bursts of snow late Thursday into Friday, but major travel disruptions are not currently expected.
Forecasters recommend monitoring updates through the week as timing and precipitation type may shift with evolving forecast data.
