Indianapolis, IN — Frost and freezing temperatures are expected across Indiana as overnight lows drop into the 30s this week. Residents should prepare for progressively colder conditions starting tonight and lasting through Wednesday night.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), frost chances will increase late Tuesday night. Scattered areas will experience frost ahead of a widespread freeze expected by Wednesday. Lows tonight will range from 36 to 43 degrees, while Tuesday night will see temperatures dip into the low 30s.

By Wednesday night, temperatures are expected to fall even further, with lows between 29 and 36 degrees. A freeze is likely in many areas, particularly in central and northern Indiana. Daytime temperatures will remain in the 50s through midweek.
