Marshall County, IN – Motorists traveling on U.S. 30 through Marshall County should expect lane closures beginning November 6. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced that the right outside lane of U.S. 30 will close in both directions for culvert repair. Closures will span from Elm Road to 12th Road near State Road 331. Work is expected to last through the end of November.
INDOT reports that the lane restrictions aim to ensure safe and efficient repairs, as culvert integrity is essential to prevent road erosion and maintain drainage. Although these lane closures will limit access, ramps at the U.S. 30 and State Road 331 interchange will remain open.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time for commutes or consider alternate routes. Reduced speeds and potential delays are anticipated as crews work to complete the project before winter conditions set in. Motorists should stay alert to signage and work-zone instructions for safety.
