La Porte, IN – Authorities are seeking information regarding a boat abandoned on a highway after a trailer tire fire.
According to the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office, a yellow PENSKE truck was towing the vessel southbound on Route 35 when the fire broke out. The driver unhitched the trailer and left the scene in the 3000 block.
