Indianapolis, IN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky until 8 PM EDT today. According to the NWS, the affected areas include major cities such as Bloomington, Louisville, Cincinnati, Lexington, and Evansville. The storm is expected to impact over 4 million people, 1,322 schools, and 107 hospitals within the watch zone.
