Illinois State Police Arrest Six in Bloomington Human Trafficking Operation

Bloomington, IL – Six individuals were arrested during a two-day human trafficking demand suppression operation conducted by the Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation Trafficking Enforcement Bureau in McLean County. The operation, which took place January 8-9, focused on identifying and apprehending those allegedly attempting to engage in commercial sex acts involving minors.

According to an ISP news release, the suspects face multiple allegations including traveling to meet a minor, indecent solicitation of a child, and grooming, among others. The arrested individuals are:

Nathan J. Hansen, 45, Bloomington

David B. Teran, 25, Bloomington

Steve Adma, 21, Galesburg

Khalid M. Farah, 21, Arlington Heights

Larry M. Miller, 60, Tolono

Michael A. Morris, 33, Forest City

Each suspect faces multiple felony charges, including solicitation and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Officials emphasized the operation’s role in deterring demand for human trafficking and protecting vulnerable individuals.

ISP encourages anyone with information on human trafficking to report it through their hotline or local law enforcement.
