Joliet, IL – The Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66 has announced a new date for its 4th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Originally scheduled for October 20, the event will now take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet. Tickets purchased for the October event will be honored on the new date.
Ron Romero, president and founder of the museum, expressed enthusiasm about the change. “The new date works well for many of our inductees,” Romero said. The event will feature live performances and appearances by Illinois artists, including Richard Marx, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Howlin’ Wolf.
WGN Radio’s Bob Sirott will return as Master of Ceremonies. Additional inductees include Vee-Jay Records and radio personality Bob Stroud. The Chi-Lites will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.
