Chicago, Illinois – Tickets are now available for the Pokémon Fossil Museum, opening May 22 at the Field Museum.
Museum officials announced that the limited-run exhibition will be on display through Sept. 7, 2026. The exhibit merges paleontology and popular culture by presenting fossil-style interpretations inspired by Pokémon characters alongside real-world science themes.
Officials said demand is expected to be high, and tickets are subject to availability. Guests who purchase tickets will receive an email confirmation and must present identification when redeeming their order at the museum.
The exhibit is part of a global collaboration that reimagines fictional creatures in a natural history format, encouraging visitors to explore concepts such as evolution, anatomy and fossil discovery through an interactive lens.
The Field Museum, located on Chicago’s Museum Campus, is one of the largest natural history museums in the world and regularly hosts traveling and limited-time exhibitions in addition to its permanent collections.
For families, students and young adults across Illinois, the exhibition adds a major summer attraction in Chicago, particularly during peak tourism months.
Museum officials encourage visitors to secure tickets early and check availability ahead of their planned visit.
