Coal City, IL – Officials have confirmed that there is no emergency at the Dresden Plant, despite social media reports suggesting otherwise.
According to the Coal City Fire Protection District, emergency personnel are conducting a drill at the facility. The department emphasized that there is no actual emergency and that misinformation has been circulating online.
Residents are advised to disregard any unverified reports of an incident at the plant. Authorities will continue to provide updates as needed.
