JOLIET, IL – A Will County man, Douglas Norris, 55, is facing a hefty $100,000 bond after being charged with three counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm.

The charges stem from an alleged incident where Norris is accused of shooting at a Jeep Cherokee occupied by a man and a woman.

The incident occurred on Magnolia Avenue late Tuesday night, when Joliet police responded to a disturbance report. Thankfully, the occupants of the Jeep Cherokee were not injured despite the vehicle being struck multiple times. They were able to drive away from the scene.

Norris was subsequently arrested at a residence on Magnolia Avenue, but Joliet police have not yet recovered the handgun that was allegedly used in the incident.
