Crescent-Iroquois Fire oversaw the swift action taken to contain the situation, with no significant threat posed to the community. The emergency teams, including local fire and EMS, Watseka Fire, Iroquois County Emergency Management, and the MABAS 7 HazMat Emergency Response Team from Kankakee County, collaborated to neutralize the danger and clean up the spill efficiently.

The driver, who was exposed to fumes from the leaking acid, received prompt medical attention at IMH and was later released.
