Du Quoin, IL – Country music’s rising star Tucker Wetmore will headline the Grandstand at the Du Quoin State Fair on Saturday, August 30, bringing his high-energy set and chart-topping hits to one of Illinois’ most anticipated summer events.

According to the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Wetmore’s performance is expected to be a major draw. His breakout success includes RIAA PLATINUM-certified singles “Wine Into Whiskey” and “Wind Up Missin’ You,” both of which cracked the Billboard Hot 100 and helped propel him to over 855 million streams in just a year.

Wetmore recently wrapped his debut Waves on a Sunset headlining tour and has performed alongside country heavyweights like Luke Bryan and Kameron Marlowe. This year, he also landed a supporting slot on Thomas Rhett’s Better in Boots tour, further solidifying his place in the country music spotlight.

“Tucker Wetmore is a perfect fit for the Du Quoin crowd,” said Jerry Costello II, Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. “He’s dynamic, he’s authentic, and we’re proud to feature him at the Du Quoin Grandstand.”

Wetmore’s 2025 momentum also includes his Grand Ole Opry debut, a nomination for ACM New Male Artist of the Year, and the release of his debut album What Not To. He’s also featured on two tracks from the upcoming Twisters movie soundtrack.

Tickets for the August 30 concert go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. The Du Quoin State Fair will run from August 22 through September 1.
