Boise, ID – Breezy conditions will persist in the Boise area on Sunday as winds from the east/northeast continue to sweep through the region. Temperatures, however, are expected to steadily rise throughout the week, offering a respite from the recent chill.
According to the National Weather Service in Boise, Sunday’s high will reach near 35 degrees, accompanied by winds up to 15 mph. The strongest gusts are expected along exposed roadways, such as I-84 and Route 55, potentially impacting travel. Residents are encouraged to secure loose outdoor items and remain cautious while driving in gusty areas.
The warming trend begins Monday, with highs climbing to 38 degrees under sunny skies. By Wednesday, temperatures are forecast to reach 41 degrees, with mostly clear conditions dominating the outlook. Overnight lows will remain cold, dipping to the mid-teens through Tuesday before gradually warming to the low 20s by midweek.
The dry weather pattern will continue into Thursday, with highs nearing 43 degrees. However, light variable winds will remain a factor, particularly during the afternoons. A chance of rain and snow is anticipated on Friday, with highs again near 43 degrees, but confidence in precipitation timing remains low.
Residents should use the calm weather early in the week to prepare for potential end-of-week precipitation. Travelers are advised to monitor updates from the National Weather Service and exercise caution during gusty conditions.
