Low-lying and flood-prone areas, particularly within urban zones, may experience rising water levels. Drivers are urged to monitor road conditions, avoid flooded streets, and allow extra travel time during the Monday morning commute.
Sunday will start with increasing clouds and mild temperatures, reaching a high near 66 degrees. Rain chances increase dramatically by the afternoon, peaking overnight with isolated thunderstorms. Patchy fog is expected to develop late Sunday into early Monday, creating additional visibility challenges for drivers.
Monday will remain cloudy, with showers tapering off by the afternoon. Daytime highs will reach the low 70s, while northeast winds around 5 mph will make for cooler conditions overnight, with lows near 52 degrees.
The extended forecast shows fluctuating rain chances throughout the week. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of isolated showers, while highs approach 68 degrees. Wednesday brings another round of potential thunderstorms, with rain chances increasing to 30%.
