Boise, ID – Strong winds and warming temperatures will impact Boise on Tuesday as a wind advisory remains in effect for the region. While skies will be mostly sunny, gusty winds could cause travel disruptions and minor power outages.
According to the National Weather Service, northwest winds will reach 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph. The wind advisory is in place from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. High-profile vehicles should use extra caution, especially on I-84, where crosswinds may be hazardous. Unsecured objects, tree limbs, and power lines may also be affected.
Looking ahead, Tuesday’s high will be near 53°F, with calmer conditions expected by nightfall. Winds will weaken to around 5 mph by late evening, with lows around 35°F.
By Wednesday, the Boise area will see mostly cloudy skies and a high near 55°F, followed by a 50% chance of rain Wednesday night. Thursday could bring a mix of rain and snow in the morning, but afternoon highs will remain mild at 52°F.
The weekend forecast looks pleasant, with sunny skies and highs in the mid-50s Friday and Saturday. However, overnight temperatures will drop to the low 30s.
