Green Bay, WI – Northeast Wisconsin remains in a deep freeze today, with wind chills dropping as low as 30 degrees below zero. Residents are urged to limit outdoor exposure as frostbite can occur in as little as 20 minutes.
According to the National Weather Service, a Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. today, with dangerously low wind chills persisting through Wednesday morning. Overnight lows will hit -12°F, with wind chill values between -20°F and -25°F. By Wednesday, temperatures will rise slightly, but wind chills will still hover between -5°F and -15°F.
A slow warming trend begins Thursday, with highs reaching the mid-20s. By the weekend, temperatures will climb into the upper 30s, offering much-needed relief. Residents should continue to dress in layers, cover exposed skin, and limit time outdoors until conditions improve.
