According to the latest forecast the area anticipates freezing rain, which may lead to hazardous roads and prolonged icy conditions. Several educational institutions, including:
- Bourbonnais Elementary School District #53: E-Learning day on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
- Iroquois West CUSD 10: E-Learning day on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
- Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School District 307: Late start on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, with classes beginning at 12:00 PM.
- Bradley Elementary School District #61: Traditional snow day on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, with no E-Learning.
- Bishop McNamara Catholic School: Late start on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, with classes beginning at 9:30 AM; potential for an E-Learning day to be confirmed.
