Houston, TX – Afternoon storms are expected to bring wet conditions along I-45 today, with highs reaching 91°F. The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts scattered thunderstorms will develop this afternoon along the sea breeze, affecting the greater Houston area, especially during evening commutes.

According to the NWS, tonight will stay mild and muggy, with lows around 75°F. Drivers should plan for possible rain-related delays and slippery roads on I-45. The storms may cause reduced visibility and minor flooding in low-lying areas, so motorists are encouraged to exercise caution.

As the week progresses, temperatures will remain in the upper 80s to low 90s, with additional afternoon storms expected. Tuesday will bring similar conditions, with a high near 90°F and more scattered showers by late afternoon. By Thursday, temperatures will cool slightly, reaching a high of 85°F.
