Holland, OH – One of northwest Ohio’s most popular summer traditions returns this week as the Holland Strawberry Festival gets underway Wednesday, bringing five days of food, entertainment and community activities to the Toledo-area village.
According to the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, the 2026 Holland Strawberry Festival will take place June 17-21 at Community Homecoming Park, located at 7807 Angola Road in Holland.
To help ensure a safe environment for attendees, sheriff’s deputies will be assigned throughout the festival grounds, including parking areas, entrance points and other high-traffic locations. Deputies will be available to answer questions, provide assistance and respond to public safety concerns during the event.
The Springfield Township Fire Department will also maintain an on-site presence throughout the festival to provide emergency services and support if needed.
Festival organizers and law enforcement officials are encouraging visitors to review event information before arriving. Attendees can find details regarding parking, prohibited items, festival rules and event expectations through the Holland Strawberry Festival’s official website and social media channels.
Officials said reviewing festival guidelines in advance can help reduce delays, improve traffic flow and create a more enjoyable experience for visitors.
The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office also thanked the Holland Police Department for its partnership and assistance in helping provide security and support during the annual event.
The festival is expected to draw visitors from across Lucas County, the Toledo metropolitan area and neighboring communities throughout northwest Ohio.
Residents planning to attend are encouraged to follow event updates, arrive prepared for summer weather conditions and seek assistance from event staff, firefighters or law enforcement if needed during the five-day celebration.
