According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Domestic Violence Section responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on East Sligh Avenue at approximately 3:04 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators said the incident allegedly began as a verbal altercation between the suspect and two victims inside the home. As the argument escalated, the victims exited the residence and entered a vehicle parked in the driveway in an attempt to leave the scene.
Deputies say the suspect, identified as Nicole Dorsey, 30, allegedly retrieved a firearm and fired multiple rounds toward the victims as they were attempting to drive away. Authorities confirmed that no one was injured and the vehicle was not struck by gunfire.
Following the incident, investigators executed a search warrant at the residence. According to deputies, they recovered a firearm, three spent shell casings, and additional ammunition from the home.
“We have zero tolerance for anyone who uses a firearm to threaten lives or escalate a dispute,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement. “This kind of violence will be met with immediate action, and those responsible will be held fully accountable under the law.”
