Lutz, FL – A traffic stop in northern Hillsborough County led to two arrests after deputies allegedly discovered fentanyl and ketamine inside a fleeing vehicle Friday.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle near Livingston Avenue and Spring Green Drive in Lutz on October 11, 2025 (Friday). The driver reportedly tried to flee before deputies uncovered more than 50 grams of fentanyl, ketamine, and drug paraphernalia during a search.

Authorities identified the driver as Amanda Cooper, 45, and the passenger as Martin George, 35. Both were allegedly wanted on parole violations at the time of the stop and were taken into custody without further incident.

Deputies said Cooper now faces additional charges, including Trafficking in Fentanyl and Fleeing to Elude, while George was arrested on outstanding warrants. The sheriff’s office did not report any injuries during the arrest.
