High-Speed Chase in LaSalle County Leads to Serious Crash at Furniture Store

Streator, IL – Three individuals were seriously injured when their vehicle crashed into a furniture store following a police chase on Monday.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reports the incident began in Pontiac when the driver fled from city police. Deputies spotted the vehicle and pursued it into LaSalle County. The chase ended dramatically when the vehicle went airborne and crashed into a Furniture Store in Streator. 

The driver, a male, and his two female passengers suffered serious injuries in the crash. The driver and both passengers were airlifted to a Peoria hospital. 

Authorities have not yet released their identities.
