According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, Aaron Lairson, born December 28, 1971, pleaded guilty Friday to one count of sexual battery on a child under 12 by a person older than 18 and in a position of familial or custodial authority.

Investigators said the case began January 4, 2023, when deputies received information alleging Lairson had sexually battered a child on more than one occasion while traveling from Indiana to Florida.
