Utah – A winter storm warning remains in effect for Utah’s Central and Southern Mountains, with heavy snowfall expected until Saturday at noon.
According to the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City, snow accumulations between 8 and 16 inches are forecasted. High elevations, including areas near Brian Head and Boulder Mountain, could see up to 22 inches. Travelers should prepare for winter driving conditions along mountain routes, especially higher passes on I-15 and I-70.
Winter road conditions are expected to deteriorate, potentially causing delays and dangerous driving scenarios. The Utah Department of Transportation recommends carrying essential supplies such as a flashlight, food, and water in case of emergencies.
