According to the National Weather Service, snowfall could total 4 to 10 inches, with gusts reaching 45 mph. Hazardous travel conditions are expected, particularly during Wednesday’s morning and evening commutes.
A brief lull in snowfall may occur Thursday afternoon into Friday morning, but heavier snow is predicted from Friday night through Sunday. Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions will be common.
Authorities advise carrying emergency supplies in vehicles if travel is necessary. This includes flashlights, food, and water. Updates on road conditions are available by dialing 511.
Residents are urged to monitor weather reports and plan accordingly. Power outages are possible due to gusty winds and falling tree branches.
