Perkinsville, IN – An EF2 tornado struck near Perkinsville, Indiana, on Monday evening, causing significant damage but no reported injuries or deaths. The tornado, with estimated peak winds of 130 mph, occurred between 9:41 PM and 9:50 PM, covering a path length of 3.04 miles and a maximum width of 50 yards.
According to the US National Weather Service in Indianapolis, the survey team confirmed the tornado’s intensity and path on Tuesday. The twister primarily affected areas in Hamilton and Madison Counties. Residents are urged to report any damage outside the confirmed path to assist in further assessments.
