Green Bay, WI – Residents across northeastern Wisconsin are in for another chilly evening, with the National Weather Service (NWS) warning of widespread frost expected tonight, particularly in areas away from Lake Michigan.
According to the US National Weather Service Green Bay, frost is likely overnight after many areas saw a frosty start to Wednesday morning. Temperatures are expected to stay between the mid-50s and upper-60s through the week, with a gradual warm-up heading into the weekend.
Forecasters noted a 20–45% chance of showers Thursday evening into Friday morning, mainly after dark. However, aside from this brief rain window, the region is expected to see a dry and quiet stretch of weather through the weekend.
Above-normal high temperatures will return Saturday and Sunday, with highs climbing into the mid-60s to low-70s under partly sunny skies.
Drivers are advised to use caution during early morning commutes, as frost may reduce visibility and create slick spots on rural roads.
