Green Bay, WI – Light snow is moving into northeast Wisconsin today, bringing slippery conditions and reduced visibility through the evening commute, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
Most locations are expected to receive around one inch of snow, though some freezing drizzle could develop later this evening. Untreated roads, bridges, and sidewalks may become icy and slick, especially after sunset.
Temperatures will stay below freezing, with highs between 21°F and 27°F. Forecasters caution that even light accumulations may make travel hazardous through tonight.
Another round of light snow is expected late Saturday night into Sunday morning, with the best chance for accumulation in eastern Wisconsin. Highs will remain cold, generally in the teens and low 20s, keeping conditions wintry through the weekend.
Drivers are advised to use caution, reduce speed, and allow extra time for travel through Sunday morning.
