Aberdeen, WA – A stolen vehicle reported out of Port Angeles was recovered Wednesday afternoon in Aberdeen, leading to the arrest of a suspect and a separate burglary investigation, according to the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were alerted by the Aberdeen Police Department after Flock license plate reader cameras detected a stolen vehicle traveling through the city. Deputies responded to the area and located the vehicle parked near a local business.
Authorities identified the driver as a 39-year-old man from Port Angeles. Deputies were able to contact the vehicle’s owner, who confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from a Port Angeles Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) office.
