Atlanta, GA – Rain is expected in Atlanta tonight before clear skies usher in a warm and sunny start to February. Weekend temperatures will climb into the mid-60s, with sunny conditions dominating through early next week.

According to the National Weather Service, showers will move through the area late Friday, with a 90% chance of rain in the afternoon. Winds could gust up to 25 mph. Rain will taper off by midnight, leading to a mostly clear and calm Saturday morning.

Saturday’s forecast calls for sunshine and a high of 64°F, with northwest winds shifting to calm conditions in the afternoon. Sunday will be even warmer, reaching 67°F under sunny skies.

Looking ahead, Monday and Tuesday continue the warming trend, with highs climbing to 73°F and 75°F, respectively. Overnight lows will remain in the 40s and 50s.

Drivers should be cautious on wet roads Friday evening, particularly on I-285 and I-75, as rain and gusty winds could reduce visibility.

Enjoy the warm weather this weekend, but keep an umbrella handy for tonight’s showers. Stay tuned for updates as February begins with sunshine across Atlanta.
