Atlanta, GA – A stretch of sunny weather is in store for Atlanta through early next week, but a shift is coming midweek.
According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will see clear skies and a high near 56°F, with northwest winds around 5 mph. Monday and Tuesday will warm up to 63°F and 69°F, respectively, before clouds and possible showers arrive late Wednesday into Thursday.
Wednesday will bring a high of 71°F, but a 30% chance of rain could dampen the warm spell. Another 30% chance of showers lingers Thursday before skies clear up again by Friday.
Drivers should be prepared for possible slick roads midweek, especially during the Wednesday evening commute.
